CALANGUTE: Water distribution to the Calangute-Candolim shore belt should enhance majorly following the water treatment plant in Porvorim is completely commissioned within the upcoming few months, PWD Union Deepak Pauskar stated on Thursday.
Speaking at the introduction of a new segment workplace of the PWD (Water) in the Candolim panchayat complicated, Pauskar said besides the Porvorim plantanother water treatment plant is located at the pipeline close to the Pilerne Industrial Estate.
“When that plant has been commissioned in around a year or so, then there’ll not be a water problem at the Calangute-Candolim beach-belt,” Pauskar stated.
