Kolkata: Taking a loud view of the abuse faced by a retired elementary school teacher to get monetary fees for more than a year after his retirement, the Calcutta High Court on Tuesday ordered the salaries of two high-ranking officials Educational Administration Dakshin Dinajpur.
Applicant Dhrubajyoti Sarkar, a retirement elementary school teacher in February 2020, prayed for the release of all the benefits of retirees along with interest that still had to be paid on pending payments.

“There should be the end of harassment to retirees of people who are school teachers, both main, both secondary,” observed.
The applicant was transferred from school in Dakshin Dinajpur in another district in the 24 North Parganas district in 2008.
After the lawyer for DPSC 24 North Parginas submitted that had not received a paper in the case of the applicant in Dakshin Dinajpur, the court said there seemed to be no step taken until now with the authorities concerned to clean up the contributions.
The court directed that the Chairperson of the DPSC and the School of the School (Primary) Inspector Dakshin Dakjpur was added as a respondent in this issue and ordered them to submit Affidavites on September 13.
The two officers were directed to “Personally present in this court because they explained several things.”
Gangopadhyay justice says they have the freedom to involve advocates with their own costs and DPSC or the state government will not bear these costs.
