KOLKATA: The Calcutta high court on Friday granted interim bail to four Bengal politicians detained by CBI from the Narada event on May 17.
Each of four — cabinet ministers Firhad Hakim and Subrata Mukherjee, Trinamool MLA Madan Mitra and prior Kolkata mayor Sovan Chatterjee — were under house arrest from May 21.
A five-judge seat gave the four bond to a personal bond of Rs two lakh each and sureties.
The court led them to not talk to the press or make public remarks in relation to the situation and to not”tamper with signs or try to intimidate or influence the opinion”.

The five-judge seat — including performing Chief Justice Rajesh Bindal along with Justices IP Mukerji, Harish Tandon, Soumen Sen along with Arijit Banerjee — may listen to the issue again on May 31.
