Sacramento: California has announced the other round of coronavirus vaccine incentives.
The California Health Care Department on Friday said it would spend $ 350 million to vaccinate more people on the Medicaid state program.
Medicaid is a shared and federal state health insurance program for people who are disabled or have low income.
About 76% of the population of California 12 and more have received at least one dose of coronavirus vaccine.
But only 45% of the Medicaid population of countries were vaccinated.
New incentives include up to $ 50 grocery store gift cards.
About 13.8 million people are registered in the California Medicaid program.
