San Francisco: Officials in North California on Wednesday warned the occupants of two communities on Jalan Dixie which went berserk to immediately be evacuated when strong winds whipping fire and there.
The authorities issued a warning to the population who was still in the Greenville and Chester communities, when the wind to 35 MPH faned the fire from the Dixie fire, the largest fire in the state, which has grown so much that it produces its own weather system.
The Sheriff Country Plumas department issued an evacuation order at the end of Tuesday for 2,000 or more chester residents to escape from the area.
“If you still have to evacuate east, soon!” The Sheriff department announced Wednesday on Twitter.
“If you can’t evacuate and you are threatened with fire and can safely get there, take refuge in Chester High School Baseball Field!” “If you are still in the Greenville area, you are in danger immediately and you have to leave now !!,” said the department in the second warning on social media.
“If you remain, emergency respondents may not help you.” The Dixie Fire has raged in the northern California forest since mid-July, part of the climate crisis that has brought hot heat and worrying drought.
