‘Call attitude’: The court pulled the police in the case of Delhi Riots

New Delhi: The Delhi court said it was “quite sad” by the “heartless attitude” of the police with complaints related to alleged burning and disability of the mosque during the Northeast Delhi Riot in February last year.
The complaint submitted by Haji Hashim Ali allegations that on February 25, 2020, a gang of 20-25 people, armed with sticks, stems, gasoline and sour bombs, entered Madina Mosque in Shiv Vihar and destroyed everything they could put.
The police hit Ali’s complaint with another fir (no.
72/2020) registered with a complaint of a Naresh Chand about burning his house, where Ali was crowned as an allegation, making Ali also a complainant.
Court: strange that the complainant in the case of the riots the defendant was also arrested in this case but then got a guarantee.
After this, he approached the court of judges who were seeking separate fir, which was permitted when the police told the court that FIR 72/2020 also had Ali complaints.
The police challenged before the court session and notified that they had submitted FIR (no.
55/2020) in the case of the Medina Mosque Arson before Ali approached the court.
Additional Judge Vinod Yadav said the police did not even realize that FIR was registered at the Karawal Nagar police station when Ali approached the Magistrate Court.
“This prime facie reflects a heartless attitude / negligence in the part of the investigation body, because it is accounted for it to put complete material before the Metropolitan Metropolitan Head (Northeast) is learned.
This court is sad enough to see lethargic.
The attitude adopted by the Investigation Agency In this problem, “added the order.
Noting that the Magistrate Court has not yet carried out any defects to submit complaints by FIR to Ali based on insufficient materials, the court session to return this case to consider this problem.
The court session also noted that it was “truly strange” that Ali was not only a complainant in the FIR 72/2020, but also the defendant, which was a “real absurdity”.
Advocacy M R Shamshad, appeared for Ali, claiming that the wrong status reports were submitted before the court and the police have revealed the second FIR (55/2020) exactly a year later.
