Mumbai: After school, the decision on repairing universities is expected immediately.
The Minister of Higher Education and Technical Uday Samant said the proposal would be sent to cm.
“Only students who are fully vaccinated will be permitted on campus,” Samant said.
The minister, however, clarified that all tests were stated until February 15 will be held online.
School Minister Varsha Gaikwad said all existing standard operating procedures (SOP) must be obeyed by the school.
The approval of parents will continue to be mandatory for the physical presence of students.
Environment Minister Aditya Thackeray Tweeted that all schools in Mumbai, including pre-primers, can restart from Monday.
CM’s decision stopped the proposal to allow nurseries and kindergarten students to attend physical schools for the first time since locking March 2020.
There were more than 5,000 pre-primary schools in the city waiting to reopen.
Welcoming the decision to reopen the main after about 22 months, Dr.
Swati Vats, President, Assocood Association, said the school and parents must maintain all safety protocols.
Anubha Sahai, President, the Association of Large Indian Parents, Feeling Schools in rural areas where online classes are a problem must be reopened first.
“Parents in the city are still not confident to send children to school.
Transportation is another problem,” Sahai said.
Kavita Chatterjee, Principal, Anggrek – International School, Kurla, said they need to monitor the situation for a while maintaining the safety of students in mind.
“Parents are both tired and tense because of the new strains that appear at regular intervals,” he said.
