KANPUR: A 18-year-old vegetable seller died after he had been captured over costs of withstanding Covid-19 lockdown standards, and promptly beaten by a police constable and a house shield from Bangarmau Kotwali police station at Unnao district Friday. The household members of Faisal, son of Mohd Islam of Bhatpuri area of Bangarmau, alleged he was badly defeated by 2 policemen–Vijay Chaudhary (constable) and Satya Prakash (home guard) on Friday afternoon after he succumbed to injuries. Afterwards, they staged a gigantic demonstration on Bangarmau-Lucknow street with all the body demanding stern action against the guilty policemen besides acceptable settlement to the victim’s relatives. Senior police officers rushed to the place, and taking cognizance of this action, suspended both police employees with immediate impact. “We’ve suspended the constable and the house guard. As of this moment, we’re amassing evidence against them both, and if they’re found guilty, we’ll reserve a case against these so. I’ve requested ASP to run a research and then publish a statement in this regard soon,” stated SP Unnao Sureshrao A Kulkarni. “We’re in the process of changing the entire body to the mortuary to get post-mortem, and after the document comes, we’ll have the ability to determine the reason behind death and also the facts of this situation can be emphasized,” that the SP further stated. Around 2 pm Friday, police constable Vijay Chaudhary and house protector Satya Prakash, published at Bangarmau Kotwali police station of this district, had supposedly hit Faisal using a stand because he had been discovered breaking up the lockdown standards by selling vegetables onto footpath in the local vegetable industry. After Faisal resisted and attempted to contend with the policemen, they shot him and brought him into Kotwali police station in their two-wheeler. At approximately 3:45 pm, Faisal’s household, waiting beyond the Kotwali police station, came to understand his condition has deteriorated and he’s experiencing intense pain in his torso. The authorities together with the relatives hurried him into a local Community Health Centre where physicians stated his state to become crucial, and guided them to carry him to the district hospital or another greater health center. “While they have been planning a referral correspondence, Faisal expired,” explained his household member Sufiyan when speaking to colleagues. “We need strict actions against the guilty cops,” Sufiyan stated. The household along with almost countless neighborhood residents blocked the Bangarmau-Lucknow street for a couple of hours. Old police officers reached the area and persuaded the relatives to deliver the entire body for conducting an post-mortem evaluation.
