Camp Relief was established as a smart city of Chennai floating on the water

Chennai: With City City Chennai or ‘Singara Chennai’ on Sundays almost floating on water after heavy rain, Chennai Corporation has established 160 aid camps.
According to the income and the Minister of Disaster Management K.S.s.r Ramachandran, affected people have been housed in assistance camps and a total of 50,451 food packages have been distributed to people affected by water.
He said the giant pump was used to pump water from the subway and the area recorded by water.
With the weather announcing the formation of depression at Bay of Bengal, Ramachandran said two teams of the National Response Date (NDRF) had been sent to Madurai and one of their respective teams to the Tiruvallur and Chengalpattu District.
According to him, 5,106 relief camps have been established in coastal districts and district collectors have been ordered to give people housed in the camps needed.
