Campaign Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma for Tamulpur Bypoll Tamulpur Candidates

Guwahati: With Assam Assembly Bypolls scheduled to be held on October 30, Head of Minister of Himanta Buswa Sarma on Sunday requesting the Tamulpur Constituency voter, which fell in the Bodoland territorial area, to ensure a big victory for the BJP Ally Peoples Party.

He believes people will choose UPPL for the benefit of peace, unity, brotherhood and development in the region.
He was grateful to Chandi Basumatary, Deben Boro and Emmanuel Mushahary because they pulled their nominations to expand support to UPPL on Saturday.
They have submitted their nomination as independent candidates.
Meanwhile, CM announced that a bridge will be built on the Pagladia River in Kharane in Tamulpur at a cost of Rs 600 Crore to improve better communication.
He also took stock of bridges that were being built on the Pagladia River in Jartaluk.
Slamming Congress, CM said Congress played football without a goalkeeper.
“Development is possible only below the BJP and its allies,” he added.
It can be mentioned that Tamulpur is the only seat among the five constituencies where the BJP LED alliance won in the election of the assembly held in March-April.
Among the other four seats, Congress has won Mariani and Thowra, while all Indian United Democrats have won the Bhanbanipur and Bodoland’s Peoples’ Front have won the Gossiigaon chair.
Mola sat Mariani, Thowra and Bhabanipur then quit their parties, and joined BJP, while Gossiigaon Mla died of Covid-19.
CM adds that BJP and its allies will provide spectacular performance in all five elections.
