Thiruvananthapuram: The State Higher Education Department launched a campaign with the aim of ensuring gender and social justice on campus.
A workshop in this relationship will be held at KTDC Grand Chaitram here on November 17 and 18.
Launched the plan, the Minist of Higher Education R Bindu said the campaign was named the ‘Samabhavanayude SadkaSalasalaKal’ (the campuses of equality).
“Kerala captures global attention in the past because the development index is pro-women.
Although Kerala is at the forefront of literacy and higher education, there are several striking factors that withdraw the situation.
It is contrary to this background that the Ministry of Higher Education and the LDF started New campaigns to achieve the goals of building pro-women, “Minister said to reporters on Tuesday.
The minister said this campaign was the beginning of an effort to ensure the campuses of the needs and awareness of gender equality in all the higher education sectors.
This will help ensure that the gender justice forum functions on all campuses.
The steps will also be taken to make timely change in the curriculum and syllabus, the Minister said.
