Campus Murder: Students in Gurugram urged witnesses to record statements

Gurugram: Students took a general meeting at SGT University on Saturday urging witnesses to record their statements, a day after a 24-year-old BAMS student was shot on campus.
The defendant, also a university student, in the law end of the year, has not been traced.
“Many students are present at the shooting.
Everything is a witness.
Their statement is very important to get the allegations sentenced,” said one of those who participated in the General Meeting.
Vinit, a student last year from Ayurvedic treatment and operation, was shot in the stomach in the parking lot during a lucky fight on Friday.
Therefore lunch breaks, there are many students around it.
Lucky along with three other people when they allegedly attacked Vinit.
The four have been ordered for murder.
The dispute between Vinit and Lucky returned at least six months, the police had learned.
Vinit, which comes from Shamli above, will remain with Mother’s uncle in Delhi, but has taken a room at the University Hostel last year.
The police have learned that Vinit and Lucky have a dispute over their relationship with BSC students in the past year which seems to be a Vinit boyfriend until about six months ago.
After breaking up, both, keep in touch, the police source said.
When Lucky began talking to him a few months ago, it caused hostility between him and Vinit, the police had learned.
Both have even been blew before, said the source, but other students have intervened.
During a recent telephone conversation, Vinit allegedly told something about luck.
When he faced lucky, he was angry.
That, according to the police, is a flame point in a dispute between the two boys.
“It’s hard to believe that a student killed another student from the same campus for their friendship with a woman,” Alok said, Vinit’s mother’s uncle.
He said Vinit had never shared with his family about his friendship with BSC students or his dispute in luck.
Vinit recently visited his house in Shamli, but his family did not have a hunch on what happened in his studies.
“He never shared something about it with his family.
Before moving to Hostel last year, Vinit would live with us in Delhi,” Alok said.
Alok and other Vinit Uncle mothers collect their bodies after autopsy.
Vinit’s father, a pharmacist in Shamli, was surprised and could not come to Gurugram.
“We want to know everything about this case.
We want to know what caused his murder,” Alok said.
The police have directed university management to improve security settings on campus and ensure no one is permitted in the complex without showing ID.
Visitors will be released.
Questions have been raised about how a student can enter into a university compound with a gun in his pocket.
DCP (West) Deepak Sahara said several teams were working on this case.
“The defendant will soon be arrested.
All educational institutions have been asked to improve security settings,” DCP said.
