HYDERABAD: The state authorities on Monday advised the Telangana high court it is amassing Aadhaar amounts while uploading possession information of agricultural land to the Dharani portalsite.
“We aren’t collecting such details for non-agricultural property,” urge general B Prasad stated while addressing a seat of Chief Justice Hima Kohli and Justice B Vijaysen Reddy.
The seat on Monday declared hearing PILs filed by supporters Kasibhatla Saketh and Gopal Sarma challenging the country’s decision to gather private details of landowners and upload them onto a public domain such as Dharani.
They also claimed that the state has been collecting personal details with no legislative aid.

Advocate overall Prasad stated that the nation has the backing of their Aadhaar Act itself since its Section 7 permits authorities to accumulate Aadhaar details of farmers while expanding subsidies and other advantages.
“Our Rythu Bandhu strategy is hitting lakhs of farmers and now we’re eligible to accumulate Aadhaar details out of farmers,” the AG said.
“We’ve registered a counter into the contentions raised in these petitions,” he further added.
