Dubai: Former Fast Bowler South Africa Morne Morkel has supported the New Zealand team “Jalan Smart” to win the T20 World Cup final against Australia on Sunday.
Australia and New Zealand will lock the horn in the T20 World Cup final which is ongoing on Sunday.
Morkel said he was convinced that New Zealand would reach the final showpiece before the tournament began.
“While the spotlight in India, Pakistan, England and Australia throughout the tournament there was a little sound inside my head said: ‘Wait, don’t forget about New Zealand’,” Morkel wrote in the ICC column.

The former South African Pacer said New Zealand would not object to who their opponents were at Clash Summit because they had overcome “big obstacles” by beating England in the semi-finals.
“New Zealand will not object to who they play in the final.
