Panaji: Chairman of the Minister of Pramod Sawant said on Saturday that the state government was reflecting on leaving ‘bars and restaurants’ operating with a capacity of 50%.
“The order will be issued,” he said.
CM also said that he would see the demands of the bar owner, who demanded that they also be allowed to operate.
The government on Friday expanded the state-level night clock for the following week until 7am on July 12.
However, it has provided certain relaxation, such as the opening of salons and complexes and sports stadiums.
The curfew had relaxed for three hours until 6pm, from the previous time at 3 pm.
“Shops can remain open from 7am to 6pm,” sawant tweeted.
A senior government official said that only shops that sell important commodities will be allowed to operate.
On June 20, the state government has enabled the opening of shops in shopping centers, except for cinema, theater, multiplex, entertainment zones and fish markets.
On June 12, the state allowed Pancrayat and the city market to open.
The remaining closed is a casino, bar, restaurant (except for home delivery and takeaways), gym, spa, massage parlors, swimming pools, religious places for public, and weekly markets.

Meanwhile, regarding the ex-Gratia scheme for families who lost people to Covid-19, Sawant said that the form for financial assistance Rs 2 Lakh would be available from Monday.
This scheme is only for families whose income does not exceed Rs 8 lakh per year, and subject to a maximum of one claims per family.
He also said that looking at the number of applications, the government will decide whether to continue the domicile condition of 15 years or not.
