New Delhi: According to Canadian Daily Times, Colonists, Patients – in their 70s from British Columbia Province – have faced the underlying condition of asthma.
The doctor examined the patient confirmed that because of the heat wave and poor air quality his health condition had deteriorated.
Dr.
Kyle Merritt, a consultant doctor, stated that for the first time in more than 10 years, he had used the term ‘climate change’ while writing the diagnosis of the patient.
“He suffered from diabetes.
He has a heart failure.
He lives in a trailer without air conditioning.
All his health problems deteriorate.
And he really struggled to stay hydrated,” added Merritt.
He also told that there were strong requirements to identify and sort the main causes rather than just treating patient symptoms.
Earlier this year in June, Canada witnessed one of the worst heat waves that had been followed where there was a haze because of forest fires that filled the sky.
Among the many provinces, British Columbia suffered a terrible heat wave which finally caused 500 deaths, per report.
