Singh said that Khatri was arrested on the basis of complaints by Canadians who alleged that he misinterpreted himself as chairman of the “Indian Craft Association” and also the owner of “Trimurtiimprex” and cheated him from 11-12 of his nature.

“Since the complainant is an NRI businessman, so he is easily monitored by mistakenly from the defendant.
To convince complainants, Khatri also took him to the ‘construction site’ in 2012 and DDA land disposal documents were also forged.” He said.
The officer said that it also misinterpreted that the hotel would be purchased by a large business house and fake paper prepared by Khatri along with a conspirator.
Khatri also opened the company on behalf of Ruhani construction in Canada and the properties of the complainants were transferred in his name, Singh said.
“After that, the properties of complainants are pawned in Canada and loans obtained as a substitute for the nature of abuse by the defendant.
Around RS 5.50 Crore is transferred from Ruhani construction to the ownership of Trimurtimim which is operated by Khatri,” Singh said.
During the investigation carried out so far, it has been found that Khatri has no share ownership at the hotel, he said.
He also showed that Khatri had opened several ownership companies or partnership companies and companies to show themselves as large entrepreneurs.
“Khatri created several false documents and the relationship of false documents proved that he showed himself as a 100 percent shareholder of a five-star hotel,” said Singh, added that Khatri was also involved in other crimes.
