Ontario Province Canada will reopen the school for direct learning on January 17, the Premier Doug Ford office said in a statement.
Ontario, which is the most populous province in Canada, has last week decided to close all schools until at least that date, in the midst of a surge in the Coronavirus case caused by the Omicron variant.
The province then quoted staff absences because of infection as a problem and expect it to rise and influence operations in schools and workplaces.
