CHENNAI: MDMK leader Vaiko on Wednesday reported the central administration’s determination to cancel CBSE Class XII board evaluation a part of a”conspiracy” to execute the National Education Policy (NEP).
He wondered why there wasn’t any statement regarding conclusion of NEET.
Vaiko encouraged the Tamil Nadu government to run the public assessment when the Covid-19 pandemic has been brought under control and also to keep the country education policy of admitting pupils to schools according to board examination success.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, later conducting a review meeting concerning the problem on Tuesday, announced the conclusion of this board evaluation and stated the decision was taken from the interest and health of their pupils.
But, there wasn’t any reference of NEET.
It suggested that NEET will be held, ” said Vaiko.
“If yes, does the PM not care about the wellbeing of the pupils that are composing the (NEET) examination? Can not they suffer from melancholy? Are not pupils looking for NEET deal with the virus” Going from the Union government’s National Educational Policy, the pupils’ marks and performance from the board exam wouldn’t be taken into account for entry in schools.
It states the outcome of the admission examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) will be considered for entry in schools and specialist classes.
“This clearly demonstrates that the Union government’s strategy of thinking would be to eliminate all the board evaluation for greater secondary course pupils,” Vaiko said.
He noticed that it had been in stark contrast to the state administration’s policy of admitting students according to their performance from the Class XII board evaluation.
Aside from that, the Tamil Nadu government is against the NEET to acknowledge pupils to medication, ” he explained.
Thus, the TN authorities ought to be careful rather than fall prey into the Centre’s gimmicks.
“The TN government must declare the public exam will be held when the pandemic brought under management.
