Chennai: AIADMK candidates for the local body of urban bodies in Kancheepuram were found depending on his home on Thursday.
His father filed a complaint who accused his son to end his life because of the threat of political opponents.
Victims, V Janakiraman, 36, are AIADMK candidates for Ward 36 at Kanccheepuram Municipal Corporation and are also environmental secretaries.
Janakiran submitted a nomination last week and combed sound.
He was also present in the campaign in which the Aiadmk Co-Convenor and former CM Edappadi K Palaniswami introduced a candidate in Kancheepuram on Wednesday.
On Wednesday night, his brother was sleeping with him when Janakiran was found hanging from the ceiling in a sitting posture.

Police Wisnu Kanchi registered the case and sent the body to postmortem.
Some party workers protested blocking roads connecting Kancheepuram and Chengalpet demanding action against those responsible for death.
