Bhubaneswar: The candidate who emerged for the main examination of the Odisha-2020 civil service has urged the Head of Minister of Naveen Patnaik to postpone the main examination given the increasing Covid case in the state.
Examination will begin on January 20 and continue until February 8.
In the memorandum submitted to the minister’s chairman, the candidates said many of them had been tested positive for Covid-19 and would not be easy for them to appear for inspection.

Other candidates on Twitter said many private behavioral behavior agents and the government have delayed their daily entrance tests and recruitment.
“How can we sit for the examination that will continue for 20 days? We don’t want to be infected during this process,” he added.
They say some candidates who live in rural areas cannot rent in Bhubaneswar or Cuttack during this Covid time.
“Given all these problems, the government must postpone the examination,” he added.
