CANDOLIM: The test positivity rate at the Candolim primary health center came down to 2.7% on Tuesday, the lowest in the state, medical officer Dr Roshan Nazareth said.
“This has been made possible because of the efforts of our staff and the support of Calangute MLA and sarpanches of Candolim, Calangute and other villages in our jurisdiction and their large number of volunteers,” Dr Nazareth said.
On Tuesday 396 persons also received their jabs, and 95-year-old became the oldest to be vaccinated at the drive-in area of the Candolim vaccination centre.
