Cannabis, Charas is worth more than RS 37 lakh confiscated in Thane

Thane: Police Thane on Wednesday restored illegal narcotics worth more than the RS 37 lakh of three people in Lake City.
Acting on the tip-off, the police put a trap at Desai Naka and intercepted the trio that had reached the place, seemed to sell contraband goods.
The defendant has been identified as Erikak Banet Billen (27), Sumedh Kasbe (24), and Pravin Chowdhary (47).
Marijuana and Charas are worth RS 37.88 lakh confiscated from them.
According to the Senior Inspector Chandrakanant Jadhav from the Shil-Daighar police station, the three have been ordered under various parts of narcotics and psychotropic substances (NDPS).
While the police have not zero on the source of contrainruction, the investigation has been launched and the trio is being interrogated.
The police also tried to arrange a list and track customers to whom it was accused of selling drugs.
