PANAJI: The state government will frame new SOPs considering the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi Festival, to prevent crowding.
GOANS should not let their guards down because there is still a covid-19-19 case in 2% in the state, CM Pramod Sawant said on Friday.
Sawant also said that there were no plans to reopen the school.
“Pandemics are still on.
Even today, there is a level of case in cave around 1.9-2%,” he said.
“Also, one or two deaths are still reported every day,” he said.
We need to take precautions, especially during the upcoming festival season.
The state government will issue SOPs in this matter.
When framing SOPs, we will bring Sarvajanik Mandal Ganeshostav into self-confidence and the SOP will be issued, “Sawant said.
We all need to ensure that we celebrate the festival without crowding, he said.” There was no decision taken when reopened by school.
We have asked the center to allow us to provide a second vaccine dose to the teacher by reducing the gap between two doses.
After we can complete the second dose for all teachers, then we will see.

He said that the state has made it mandatory for those who entered from Kerala to get a negative RT-PCR report, to control the spread of the virus in Goa.
