Canval-banduri activists want a resolution to disputes in the bellagea session

Hubballi: Mahadayi Activist Kalasa-Banduri Horata Samiti on Saturday urged the state government to adopt a resolution to start work on the Kalasa-Banduri Nala project during the winter session, scheduled to start from December 13 in Bataghagavi.
Amrut Ijari, Mahesh Pattar, NH Patil, Pundal Badiger and other activists, who issued a statement to the press, cited the tribunal command of Mahadayi’s dispute, which allocated 13.5TMCT water to Karnataka.
The project, which aims to divert water from the Mahadayi River to Malaprabha, after completing the drinking water to Dharwad and neighboring districts.
“BJP has power in Karnataka, and in the middle.
Like that, the niggling problem must be resolved earlier,” read the statement.
Activists seek to remind the main minister of Basavaraj Bommai from their contribution to their fight – CM has written a letter using his own blood a decade ago, to emphasize his commitment to meet the requirements of drinking water from North Carnataka.
“He then became a minister of water resources and now cm.
He has a lot of knowledge about this problem.
The government should not delay the implementation of the project again.
Further delays will only produce people from North Karnataka launching other agitation,” Samiti warned.
