Capex support until RS 200CR in GUJ IT / ITES policy

Ahmedabad: The main bonanza is in the store for IT companies here because the state government announces the policy of Gujarat Ites 2022-27.
Chief Minister Gujarat Bhupendra Patel launched a policy document at a ceremony held at City Gandhinagar prize on Tuesday morning.
As part of a new policy, the state government has announced the support of capital expenditure to Rs 200 Crore for the upcoming IT company in the state, which is Rs 1 Crore in the previous policy.
This new policy will apply for five years I.e.
From 2022 to 2027.
“The policy introduces a unique concept of the Capex-Opex model.
As part of this, 25% capex support to RS 50 Crore will be expanded for small to medium and 200-crore rs projects for the Mega Project will be provided.
Exceeding and at Upper, operational expenditure support of 15% to RS 20 Crore per year for small to medium projects and RS 40 Crore per year for megaprojects is the first-of – policy type that imagines Capex support 25% to RS 50 Crore For the Normal Project and Rs 200 Crore for the Mega Project.
Under the Opex model, the government will provide support 15% to RS 20 Crore per year will be expanded to increase IT investment in Gujarat, “said the state government in a statement.
In an effort to improve IT employment in Gujarat, this policy also provides two specialized employment incentives to come to IT companies.
One-time investment to RS 60,000 per employee will be provided by the state government to come to IT companies and 75-100% replacement of employer contributions to employee giving funds will also be provided for a period of five years.
The state government will also continue to provide interest payments by 7% on futures loans to RS 5 Crore and 100% replacement of electrical tasks for all ITES units that meet the requirements.
The Gujarat Ites policy also proposed to establish Gujarat AI School / AI Center of Excellence with the intention of providing skilled industrial talents for the IT industry.
“Financial Support to RS 50,000 per person through direct benefit transfers (DBT) to graduate and professional students working for skills development has been proposed.
Large-scale information, education and communication programs (IEC) targets school children and the general public to increase literacy Digital and increasing information technology awareness, “Countries of Policy Document.
In an effort to provide easy access to office space for IT companies that appear in Gujarat, the policy proposes to facilitate the workspace settings that work together to enable the IT companies quickly track their IT operations here.
In addition, 50% subsidies of rent to 10,000 per seat per month will also be extended to IT companies established under the infrastructure scheme facilitated by the government.
This policy aims to increase the export of IT Gujarat from Rs 3,000 Crore per year to Rs 25,000 Crore a year for the next three years and produce direct work for 1 lakh.
Submit the development of the IT and the cities with the support of capex to RS 100 Crore in addition to relaxation in regulation & FCI norms has also been proposed.
The state has also proposed to provide capital expenditure support by 25% to RS 150 Crore and power tariff subsidies of Rs 1 per unit for a period of five years to establish a data center, in an effort to improve cloud-based infrastructure on the Internet.
Setting up the Cable Landing Station (CLS) will also be facilitated by 25% capex support to rs 20 crores in addition to RS 1 Power Rates Subsidies for a period of five years.
