Chandigarh: Minister of Punjab Minister Amarinder Singh on Thursday almost launched the ‘Unified State Bearing Number’ 1100 ‘to provide citizen-centric services and expand complaints other than expanding the’ state revenue portal ‘(https://admission.in) August 31, 2021, For students who want to get acceptance in various government universities throughout the state.
In his speech, Amarinder said that nearly 42,000 students had registered on the portal.
With this general registration portal, 100 percent of revenue will be contacted as applicants do not need to display themselves physically, which will make them call from the risk of contracting the Covid-19 virus.
Chasing other friendly initiatives of 1100 Helplines, the ministerial head said it would help people in making their lives easier in several ways by simply clicking the button to take advantage of many benefits from this service.
He said this newly launched ‘integrated state bearing number’ 1100 will soon be supported by features such as chat, email, whatsapp and SMS.
He also directed the administrative secretary of various departments to regularly conduct weekly reviews on their departmental functions and also requested the main secretary to monitor the functions of these departments at its level from time to time to ensure the delivery of citizen services.
The Amarinder captain also emphasized the need to analyze complaints resolution both qualitatively and quantitatively.
Special Secretary Management Reform and Public Complaints Ravi Bhagat said that the Helpline ‘1100’ has also been associated with the PGRS portal and will only facilitate non-emergency services, as a step forward in digital punjab initiatives.
He also mentioned that several existing help channels often confused residents and now new Helplines will allow them to register and track their complaint status through 1100 calls, web portals: connect.pov.in, m-rental and cellular application e-rental.
All departments are connected to tracking real-time online complaint services 24×7.
