Chandigarh: Minister of Punjab Minister Amarinder Singh finally met with the Head of the New Punjab Congress Navjot Singh Sidhu in Tea held by the former in Punjab Bhawan ahead of the Sidhu installation ceremony.
Sidhu was the first to reach the venue and left the venue between the time while Amarinder joined another party of Mlaas, another senior parliamentary member.
Sidhu returned to meet Amarinder and told him that he had gone for a while for ‘Ardas’ (Sikh prayer before a significant task).
The pictures of the two leaders who sat together were immediately released.
After a short meeting, the two leaders went to the Bhawan Congress in a separate car.
AICC incharge from Punjab Urfairs Harish was in an Amarinder car while Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu traveled with Sidhu.

After the event, Sidhu will head to Zira to meet with congressional workers who suffered injuries in an accident while traveling to Chandigarh for the installation ceremony.
