Beirut: A car bombing in the Syrian city in Syria in Syria on Monday killed six people, including at least one rebel fighters supported by turkeys, said the war monitor.
Afrin, like all areas held by pro-Turkish rebels, is a regularly targeted murder scene, bombings and shootings that are mostly still not claimed.
On Monday, an explosion-Laden vehicle exploded in “an area filled with civilians” in the downtown of the rebel city held, the Syrian observatory said in the UK for human rights.
The explosion was hit near airmail and the military for the ornamental group Jaysh al-Islam Rebel, according to the monitor that depends on the source network in Syria.
At least two civilians and one Jaysh fighters were killed, while 12 other people were injured, said Observatory.
“The hospital in Afrin accepts the body of an unknown person,” the monitor added.
According to the observatory, the local police in Afrin arrested two young men who were allegedly involved.
Last month, Afrin was hit by four separate attacks using explosive devices, including one that targeted a vehicle for a rebel commander.
Turkey and its Syrian proxy have seized areas in Syria in several military operations since 2016 against Islamic groups (IS) and YPG Kurdish militias.
In March 2018, they seized the city of Afrin after encouraging Syrian Kurdish troops.
The conflict in Syria has killed nearly 500,000 people since it began in 2011 with a brutal repression of peaceful demonstrations.
