“It’s been brought into the notice of this authorities that particular families couldn’t receive the amount as they are within isolation because of Covid-19; not able to visit the native districts as a result of complete lockdown and due to lack of transport facilities to this PDS outlets following change of speech.
These households can avail the amount against the PDS sockets in June,” the release stated.
The DMK government declared Rs 4,000 Covid aid from instalments to rice cardholders and people who’ve been found qualified for meat.
The amount was disbursed at PDS sockets since May 15.
