PUDUCHERRY: Active Covid-19 case crosses 700-mark again in the Union Puducherry area on Tuesday.
Territory reported 115 new cases even as 67 patients recovered in the last 24 hours took the total number of active cases to 715.
From them, 557 patients were under house isolation and treatment.
Puducherry headquarters reported maximum new cases with 57 followed by Karaikan (37), Mahe (16) and Yanam (5).
The Puducherry headquarters has a maximum active case with 438 followed by Karaikan (156), Mahe (102) and Yanam (19).
Territory did not report Covid-19 death and the victim stood at 1,812.
Puducherry headquarters have maximum death with 1,431 followed by Karaikan (236), Yanam (105) and MAHE (40).
Infection mortality rates reach 1.5%.
