Hyderabad: Cybercrime wing Police Hyderabad on Wednesday registered a case against Siddharth’s actor for his controversial tweet against the Ace Shuttler Saina Nehwal.
On December 5, Saina tweeted raising concerns about security violations of PM Narendra Modi in Punjab.
“There is no nation that can claim to be safe if the security is compromised.
I condemn, in possible strongest words, a coward attack on PM Modi by the anarchists,” Tweeted Saina.

On Wednesday, a social activist filed a complaint to the Cybercrime police against Siddharth, allegating that the actor’s comments on Saina were condescending in nature.
“Social activists Prerna filed a complaint to us accused Siddharth’s comments towards Saina Nehwal was misogynist and offensive National Women (NCW) said: “The comment is misogynist and outrageously with the simplicity of a woman as big as a disrespectful and insult to the dignity of women on the social media platform.” NCW also asked for Twitter India to immediately block the actor’s account.
Siddharth on the other hand apologizes To Saina on Tuesday night tweeting: “I want to apologize to you because of my rough jokes I wrote in response to your tweets, a few days ago.
I might not agree with you in many ways but even my disappointment or anger when I read your tweet, it can’t justify my tone and words.
