Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 11 new Covid-19 cases and 1 death on Saturday.
The number of active cases in the country is 3,979 – to the bottom of 4,000 for the first time in the past seven months.
The total number of cases from the beginning of the pandemic last year stood at 6.68,833 and the death toll was at 3,937.
As many as 187 patients recovered on Saturday, taking a total count of patients recovered to 6.60.917.
Case Fatality Rate (CFR) stands at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate is 98.81 percent now.
So far 79.78 percent of the total cases in this country have been asymptomatic while 20.1 percent have symptomatic.
On Saturday, 30,050 samples were tested for Coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed the sample testing of 2.69 crores and has reached 7.25 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 29 cases on Saturday, while Medchal Malkajiriri neighbor recorded 6 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 8 and Sanga Reddy recorded 2 cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Khammam with 11 new cases recorded the highest number of cases.
