Lucknow: Lucknow bench from the High Court of Allahabad on Friday ordered his order at Umar Gautam’s request, was arrested by ATS in connection with recent religious conversion, looking for a ban on reporting on each content related to the case investigation.
The applicant is suspected of being petitioned that print and electronic media reports several news items which are part of the investigation by the Investigation Agency and can affect their rights and influence the probe.
Make several news channels in the petition, the applicant demands their ban from telecasting and reporting the case material.
Opposing the request, advocate government advocate SN Tilhari argues that the investigation body does not divulge material to any part the media and initially reported the contents of FIR.
He stressed that the Supreme Court had set guidelines for media reporting and therefore did not need to pass orders on the instant petition.
After hearing the request, the Ramesh Sinha justice bench and Justice VK Srivastav ordered his order to say it later.
