New Delhi: The Delhi Court has sent two directions of city-based real estate companies with jaded custody in the case of alleged fraud more than Rs 50 Crores.
Additional session Judge Mohinder Virat in an order passed on Wednesday restore Sushant Mutreja and Nishant Mutreja to hold a judiciary for 14 days.
They have been in prison in connection with other suspected cheating cases.
The duo was arrested on August 16 after the court sent them to detention of a serious fraud investigation office (SFIO) for two days where they were questioned for alleged fraud transactions.
During hearing, SFIO told the court that Sushant and Nishant misused their position in real estate companies to deceive home buyers and investors and cause improper profits.
The corporate fraud investigation agency further gave a court that investigations until the date revealed that fraud more than Rs 50 Crores had been carried out by them in relation to each other.
The judge, sending him to SFIO detention two days on August 16, has noted that the violation was allegedly done by them was “serious nature.” They were also accused of other cases related to cheating crores investors from rupees by not giving flats and property in Delhi-NCR.
They deceived 893 victims more than Rs 126 Crore throughout the country by not submitting unit ownership to them or paying a guaranteed return, additional sessions of Kamini Judge Lau have rejected their guarantee on August 2.
