Mumbai: Sitting NCB, led by IPS officers Sanjay Kumar Singh, on Sunday called Shah Rukh Khan Aryan’s son and was accused of another in the case of the breast medicine Cruise.
While Aryan failed to appear before sitting in quoting “a little fever”, his friend Arbaaz Merchant and Co-distiged Achit Kumar arrived at the NCB office and was questioned for several hours.
The source said Aryan is expected to appear before sitting in one or two days.
“We publish a call for all the defendants and the people concerned in six drug cases which are now examined by sitting,” said an NCB officer.
Sitting, which was formed on Friday, arrived at Mumbai on Saturday.
Singh was present at the NCB Estate Ballard office on Sunday.
The merchant came in the morning to give his statement while Kumar arrived in the afternoon.
Ani reported that Prabhakar Sail, a witness in the case of claiming that the RS 18 Crore agreement was made for Aryan’s release, has been summoned at 2pm, Monday.
Earlier on October 30, Sail failed to appear before the team to record his statement, an official said.
Case of Cruise Liner Medication, Kohli’s Armical Actor case, a case involving the Nawab Minister Nawab Malik Sameer Khan, and three Charas and the Mephedrone case, who was watched by Director of Zonal Mumbai NCB Sameer Wankhede, was transferred to Singh-LED sitting last week.
Meanwhile, Sunil Patil, the former Mumbai BJP Wing Chief Mohit Bharatiya has been accused of being the mastermind from the episode of the shipping drug, appearing before Mumbai police sit on Sunday to record his statement, an official said.
ACP Milin Khetle, who heads sitting arranged to investigate extortion allegations of NCB officials in connection with the alleged bust of shipping drugs, will record Patil’s statement.
