Kottayam: The court here released former Bishop Jalandhar Diocese Franco Mulakkal in the case of Nun Rape on Friday.
It was an additional district and the 1st session court here which said the verdict in this case.
Survivor in this case has filed a complaint to the Chief of Police of Kottayam on sexual harassment from 2014-16 on June 27, 2018.
The applicant is the former Jesus Superior General Missionary General, who functions under Jalandhar.

Bishop Mulakkal is a church protector.
There were 39 prosecution witnesses and six defense witnesses in this case and prosecution had submitted 122 documents while defense had submitted 56 documents before the court.
The court through the command has banned the media from covering the testing process in the camera.

Requesting Innocence, Bishop Mulakkal has approached the High Court of Kerala and the Supreme Court to clearly clearly from this case, but a higher court asked for him to Facing the trial.
The police arrested him on September 21, 2018, two weeks after five friends from the complainants did sit-in in Kochi.
Bishops were imprisoned but released on the guarantee on October 15, 2018.
