Mumbai: Police Mumbai has arrested three people in the age group 19 to 22 of Haryana in connection with the Chat in the Clubhouse App, where unpleasant and rude comments were allegedly passed by women, an official said on Friday.
The cyber police station from the Mumbai crime branch made the arrest late Thursday night.

During the probe, the police found that two chat spaces had been made in the Clubhouse application on January 16 and 19 (this year), he said.
“Some participants discussed and made a demeaning statement about women.

Although there were around 300 participants in each of these two chat spaces, those who used unpleasant languages against women were the defendants in this case, he said.
Twitter user ‘Jaiwi’ has uploaded a video of Chat Clubhouse, which is also shared on Instagram from an account called ‘Lotus Watch’.
As unpleasant and rude language for women used, it created a commotion, the official said.
“A user named XD is a moderator and the main speaker of the clubhouse chat, which is widely circulated on social media on January 16 and 19.

Based on the woman’s complaint, a case was registered by the Cybre police under the IPC 153 (A) section (promoting hostility between different groups of religious reasons, race, birthplace, residence, language, etc.), 195 (a), and threatening Someone to provide fake evidence), 354 (a) (sexual harassment), 354 (d), 509 (said, movement or action intended to insult the modesty of a woman), 500 (defamation) and section 67 – that was registered, he said, adding two separate teams formed to investigate this case.
Following the arrest of Suher from Karnal, the city police have obtained their rights for three days, the official said.
Kakkar is known in clubhouse with the name of the @jishnav and Yash Parashar account known as Sher Singh, Papa, Biker Gang 5, Pardhan @ Haryana_aala, he said.
Meanwhile, in the tweet posted early this morning, Shiv member Sena Rajya Sabha Priyanka Chaturvedi praised the city police for arrest in this case.

A Mumbai-based organization also filed complaints with city police on Wednesday in connection with the Clubhouse application, looking for deactivation, and also the registration of the case, the official said.
