New Delhi: Delhi Court on Tuesday punish a company based in Ranchi, the three directors and a rented accountant in the case of coal fraud for allegedly interpreting the facts of coal in Jharkhand.
The Court held a M / S Domco Pvt Ltd company, three Directors of Binay Prakash, Vasant Diwakar Manjrekar and Parerman Mondal and Chartered Accountant Sanjay Khandelwal guilty of fraud and criminal violations, can be punished under the Indian Criminal Code.
In its circumstances, the Special CBI Judge Arun Bharadwaj also released a rented accountant Manoj Kumar Gupta to want evidence.
The court will hear arguments in quantum sentences on September 15.
According to the CBI, the company accused of submitting a request for steel services for the blockage of coal blocks captured to establish pig iron plants from two lakh tons per capacity of Annum in RAIRANGPUR in Odisha through the Director of Prakash.
At the request of the ministry in November 2000, the company has also submitted a request for freezing coal blocks to the Coal Ministry (MOC), the CBI said.
The CBI said that based on completed information and documents, the MOC continued to allocate Lalgarh (North) coal blocks in West West West Bokaro Jharkhand who supported their company in RAIRANGPUR.
The CBI has alleged that during an investigation, it was found that the company misinterpreted the Ministry of Steel and Coal in a number of amounts.
It has claimed that the conspiracy was hatched by the company and his director with various other people to induce the MOC to distribute a batubara block that was held captive.
