Letter: The leader of Congress Rahul Gandhi is likely to record his statement at the Judge Judicial Court in the District Letter and the session on October 29.
The statement of two witnesses was recorded in the case of defamation against him.
Gandhi last appeared in court in June and denied making a comment slandering the name of the Modi family.
“Rahul Gandhi is likely to remain in court to record his statement after the court examined two more witnesses,” said Kirit Panwala, Lawyer Gandhi.
Previously, a complainant in the case of defamation, the BJP BJP MLA letter and currently the Minister of Cabinet Purnesh Modi, has requested a local court to record the statement of two additional witnesses, which was rejected by the court.
Then, Modi approached the High Court which directed the local court to reconsider his order.
“Then an officer and video grapher statement was recorded by the court.
They are part of the Election Commission Supervision Team,” Panwala said.
The April 2019 case was submitted under the Indian Criminal Code 499 and 500 after Gandhi operated on the community in a political rally in Karar in Karnataka on April 13, 2019 in the general election process.
