Patna: The number of brain bleeding and heart attack cases has jumped from 50% to 70% in the daily average of emergency patients achieving different government hospitals as cold cold weather conditions have been valid in the country’s capital for more than a week.
“Seven of ten patients reaching trauma and emergency centers we are brain bleeding or stroke (cardiovascular accidents) and a heart attack (myocardial infarction),” Dr.
Manish Mandal’s medical supervisor said.
What a more concern is the fact that young people between 30 and 50 years are among patients with brain bleeding, he said.
This condition was caused by severe cold weather exposure to emergency medical and doctors and paramedic staff from busy Igims throughout the hours in their treatment.
Severe respiratory problems, high fever and cold diarrhea are other health problems witnessed in hospitals for more than a week, added Dr.
Mandal.
The victim’s head of medical officers from PMCH, Dr.

“Seven to eight patients with brain bleeding and a heart attack that reaches an emergency every day and most of them immediately shift to the emergency ICU for periodic monitoring.

The PMCH also get a large number of fever and diarrhea patients, mostly caused by a temperature decline, added Dr.

Almost a similar case was reported from Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH).
Its Deputy Inspector Dr.
Satish Kumar said brain bleeding or stroke was the most common problem serious health at the low temperature.
“The narrowing of the artery that leads to shooting blood pressure, some cases of hypothermia (severe cold attacks) and a heart attack are one of the common problems seen today at the hospital.
Important diarrhea, winter bronchitis and some case of ice bites (blisters in open parts such as hands) are other symptoms in this low weather condition, said Dr.

Brain bleeding, in addition to the bronchial asthma, diarrhea and vomiting cases also reached large amounts in Aiims-Patna, said the head of trauma and emergency department, Dr.

Brain bleeding is life threatening medical conditions on severe winter days and people of all ages are advised to refrain from exposure by properly covering the body with warm clothes, added Dr.
