Ahmedabad: Vandit Patel, satellite residents who run the salon in Bopal and who were caught on November 16 to have and send drugs, have identified the shipping address included by the shops, tea kiosks and closed offices.
The source in the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the Rural Police Ahmedabad said Patel, 27, delivered drugs about 300 times the 50 places in Gujarat.
“During the investigation, we found that he had identified certain places such as PAN stores, tea shops, closed offices or homes and lonely places to avoid police supervision,” said a police officer.
Cop said Patel was used to go to various parts of the city and would identify a safe place for shipping.
“Every time he goes anywhere, he will identify a locked office or house where he can order delivery of medicines.
In addition, he has chosen hangout places such as stores or tea stalls for delivery,” the police said .
Police officers said they went to the places he had taken, and many of them were found closed.
Patel was arrested by the Ahmedabad rural police, who found drugs worth RS 8 lakh he had.
Sources in the police said Patel would look for drugs from countries such as US and Dutch through cargo courier services and made them sent in Gujarat and other countries.
He has also organized rave parties in Mumbai and Delhi and uncover drugs such as MD and cocaine.
Police officers said Patel also sent medicinal parcel to his friends Shanghai, China and Auckland, New Zealand.
The police also arrested three maids and accused him of under narcotics law and psychotropic substances (NDPS).
