Bathinda: With 1796 plant combustion incidents reported on Monday, the number of cases of burning mounts in Punjab this season reached 14,920.
However, the stump of combustion, however, was far lower than the previous two years for the period until November 1.
The case until November 1, 2019 was 22,572.
In 2020, the number was 33,175, according to the data compiled by the Punjab remote sensing center.

On October 31, the maximum burning case this season was recorded, 2,895.
Tarn Taran has reported the highest number of cases this year.
However, on Monday, Sangrur received the highest number of cases, 189.
Followed by 160 cases in Ferozepur, 156 in Gurdaspur and 149 in Barnala.
