Cash-for-vote: ED Documents chargesheet from T’gana MP

HYDERABAD: Just six years following Rs 50 lakh money was supposedly offered to some nominated MLA from the Treaty surveys, the Enforcement Directorate on Thursday filed a chargesheet from Congress Lok Sabha MP in Malkajgiri,” A Revanth Reddy,” TRS MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah along with others from the cash-for-vote scam.
The ED chargesheet likewise produced a reference of TDP president and past AP chief minister Chandrababu Naidu’s title when speaking about a telephone recording, but didn’t mention him as an accused in the case.
The ED had provisionally connected Rs 50 lakh supposedly provided as bribe to Anglo-Indian MLA Elvis Stephenson, requesting him to abstain from voting to favour an TDP candidate at the MLC surveys in 2015.
The alleged offence took place on May 31, 2015.
The ED also termed separate church bishop Harry Sebastian, Revanth’s aide Rudra Sivakumar Uday Simha, mediator Mathaiah Jerusalem and TDP MLC candidate Vem Narendar Reddy’s son Vem Krishna Keerthan at the Instance.
The bribe money was organized by Narendar Reddy’s son, both the ACB and ED alleged.
The ED analysis demonstrated that Revanth Reddy, Sandra Veeraiah and the others had conspired to bribe Stephenson to shield his vote in favor of Narender Reddy.
The ED chargesheet (prosecution criticism ) was registered in the metropolitan excursions judge-cum-PMLA unique courtroom at Nampally.

But,the ACB and the ED failed to create any proof against Naidu except affirming the voice at the sound record was the Naidu.
Stephenson alleged he was provided Rs crore and a flight ticket to depart the state after casting his vote in favor of this TDP candidate at the Treaty elections held on June 1, 2015.
The ACB detained Revanth Reddy after grabbing him red-handed while that he had been supposedly paying Rs 50 lakh to Stephenson.
