Cash, Gold Worth RS 80L Stolen from Office Jewelry

Rajkot: Cash and Gold Worth Rs 80 Lakh Stolen from the Jewelry Office in Soni Bazaar in the city on Tuesday night.
According to the police, the thief opened Moeen Ali Malik’s office on Tuesday night when heavy rains in the city.
The thieves steal cash 5 lakh’s cash from the ground floor of the office and 1,400 grams of gold and gold jewelry from the upper floors.
The police said that gold belonged to Malik customers, who had given it to him because of designing different ornaments.
During the investigation it was also revealed that thieves had broken CCTV cameras from the office and had stolen digital video recorders from the camera too.
“There are other safes set on the wall because they can’t solve it.
If it’s safe it’s broken, valuable items worth Crores Rupee will be stolen,” said a police officer.
The police are now interrogating 25 workers employed by Malik.
They also through recordings of CCTV cameras installed around it.
Police from the Division of Police Station and Sleuth Branch Crime investigated the incident.
Malik, a native of West Bengal, has run the Murali ornament jewelry company for the past eight years in the city.
Malik’s wife, brother and two sons are partners in the company.
