Casing Active Covid-19 Lowest in 214 days

New Delhi: India added 15,823 fresh coronavirus cases, taking the calculation of infection to 3,40.01.743 on Wednesday, while the National Covid recovery rate increased to 98.06 percent, according to the UNI Ministry of Health data.
The death toll reached 4.51,189 with 226 new fatality, data was updated at 8am showing.
Daily increase in new Koronavirus infection has been under 30,000 for 19 consecutive days and less than 50,000 new cases every day has been reported for 108 consecutive days now.
The active case has decreased to 2,07,653, the lowest in 214 days, consisting of 0.61 percent of the total infection while the national Covid recovery rate was recorded at 98.06 percent, the ministry said.
The reduction of 7,247 cases has been recorded in active Covid coils in the 24-hour range.
Daily peposititivity levels are recorded at 1.19 percent.
Has been less than three percent for the past 44 days.
Weekly front levels are recorded at 1.46 percent.
It has been under three percent for the past 110 days, according to the Ministry.
As many as 13.25,399 tests were carried out on Tuesday, taking the number of cumulative tests carried out so far to detect Covid-19 in this country to 58,63,63,442.
The number of people who have recovered from the disease jumped to 33342901, while the case fatality rate was recorded at 1.33 percent.
More than 96.43 covid crore vaccine doses have been given in this country so far under the drive of national vaccination.
Covid-19 Tally India has passed 20 lakh-mark on August 7, 2020, 30 lakh on August 23, 40 lakh on 5 and 50 September on September 16.
He passed 60 lakh on September 28, 70 lakh on October 11, passed 80 lakh on October 29 90 lakh on November 20 and exceeded the one-crore sign on December 19.

226 new fatality includes 106 of 106 from Kerala and 43 of Maharashtra.
A total of 4.51,189 deaths have been reported so far in this country, including 1,39,621 from Maharashtra, 37,906 from Karnataka, 35,814 from Tamil Nadu, 26,448 from Kerala, 25,089 from Delhi, 22,896 from Uttar Pradesh and 18,924 from West Bengal.
The ministry emphasized that more than 70 percent of deaths occurred because of comorbidity.
“Our numbers are being reconciled by the Indian Medical Research Council,” said the ministry on its website, added that the distribution of wise numbers was subject to verification and further reconciliation.
