Patna: repeating the demand for census based on caste, bihar cm Nitish Kumar, said Sunday the country’s caste country data would provide encouragement to all development.
Overcoming the National JD (U) Council meeting here, Nitish said, “The enumeration of caste-wise residents when the census-2021 is very necessary.
Caste-wise data will benefit everyone.
If we get caste-wise break-up of the population, it will give a boost to the development of all casts.
” He also said some people spread rumors about the census by caste.
“This doesn’t fight anyone.
This is in all interests, “Nitish said in the midst of applause supporting party leaders and workers.
Talking about the controversial problem of population control law, Nitish said, “If other countries want to bring laws, they can do it.
We are at Bihar who educate our children to control the birth rate.
Educating our children is very necessary to put a check at the birth rate of the child.
Right from providing cycles for girls attending 35% reservations for women in government work and 50% quota for women in the body of Panchayat, I have done several things for women’s empowerment in Bihar.
” Nitish further summoned party leaders to work unite to make JD (U) a national party.
He said, “To achieve this goal, the party must get the status of the State Party in at least four countries.
At present, we have ‘state party’ status in two countries.
We must take an appointment to make JD (U) a national party.
” He also said all senior leaders of the party must visit other countries for the expansion and strengthening of the organization.
“If needed, I will also visit other countries,” Nitish said.
About 250 delegates from 23 countries and all senior leaders of JD (U) attended the National Council meeting which ratified all eight resolutions authorized by the Party National Executive Committee in Delhi on July 31 “In addition to ratifying the nomination of Rajiv Ranjan Singh aka Lalan Singh as the party’s national president, The National Council meeting also agreed to the party’s resolution demanding the Caste-wise census throughout the country, “said JD (U) AFAQUE National Secretary General Ahmad Khan Toi on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, JD (U) Head of Lalan Singh said no person or political party must have a problem if there are political workers saying that CM Nitish Kumar has all the quality to become Prime Minister and CM we are PM material.
Lalan said Nitish had all the quality to become the prime minister, but he was not a candidate for PM PP.
“There is a difference between ‘having all the qualities of PM’ and ‘being a candidate for PM’s office,” he said, it seems to respond to the latest statement from a BJP leader who said there were no vacancies for PM’s position in the country.
Lalan is also called to make JD (U) number one party in Bihar by exceeding the 2010 election election data assembly.
He also asked party workers to work to achieve the national party status for JD (U).
Minister of Steel Union RCP Singh, Chair of the Kushwaha Upendra Party Parliament and many other leaders also discussed the National Council meeting.
