Every girl dreams of making it big, but only those with unwavering dedication, willpower, and a voracious desire can do so.
One such achiever is our LIVA Miss Diva 2020 Runner-up Neha Jaiswal.
She sparked her magic during her pageant journey and captured everyone’s hearts with her alluring beauty, classy demeanor, and humanitarian work.
The enchanting beauty has always believed in pursuing goals with a purpose.
Now the remarkable reign of Neha is coming to an end, and she will soon hand over her crown to her predecessor.
Recently, we got in touch with Neha to learn more about her cherished memories of her dream run at Miss Diva.
Excerpts.
Did winning the crown transform your life?
Life changed in manifold ways! I got a glimpse into living the celebrity lifestyle.
The amount of love, respect, and possibilities I earned through LIVA Miss Diva 2020 is unmatched.
The platform immediately catapulted me to be on the nation’s biggest stages of films, music, and sports, and I got to interact with the best in each field.
I cannot imagine getting such widespread exposure in one year had it not been for the Miss Diva pageant.
It really did change my life overnight.
Now, as you prepare to pass on your crown to the next winner, what are your thoughts/emotions?
I believe that great things in life should be shared as much as possible, be it love, happiness, experience, knowledge, or opportunities.
We have had the longest reign in Miss Diva history, and I’m incredibly grateful for my time with the organization.
I honestly can not wait for another wonderful representative to experience this amazing journey, make the most of it, and take the legacy forward.
I am really looking forward to welcoming my successor!
Your journey was wholly different from that of past winners.
You had the longest reign, but a digital one due to lockdown restrictions.
Could you share the one most memorable moment during this time?
Haha, absolutely, it was truly a one-of-a-kind reign for many reasons.
However, one most memorable takeaway out of our lockdown-reign for me was to see the ‘Power of Optimism.’ When everything seemed impossible, we as a community figured out ways to keep things running.
Whether working from home, adapting to an entirely new lifestyle, getting trained online, reaching out to NGOs and rendering our help, having online sessions to spread the word, Miss India Org even held a virtual pageant during a pandemic.
There is nothing we didn’t try to find a solution for, and that was incredible to witness.
What are the few tips you would like to share with young aspirants to keep fit, healthy, and develop a pleasing personality?
While preparing for pageants, young girls often fall into the trap of crash diets, skin creams, and temporary treatments, which may show results at that moment but have long-term negative implications.
Hence ‘Holistic Health’ should be your goal.
Opt for healthy eating choices, cut down on junk and sugar, a combination of cardio and toning exercises, practicing pageant Q/A, and personality development training, all of these would help.
And the thing that is going to set you apart is ‘Consistent Effort.’
As a pageant winner, you’ve worked on several projects.
Could you brief us on the same?
As pageant winners, we are blessed with various prospects to join hands, meet incredible people, share their inspiring stories, and spread the word.
To name a few, ‘The Think foundation’ headed by Mr.
Vinay Shetty with a goal to spread awareness on Thalassemia, how it is a life-threatening condition and can be avoided entirely with the proper knowledge and timely testing.
‘The Connecting NGO’ is working tirelessly towards creating a safe space to talk about mental health.
I also collaborated with ‘My Rights Fest’ as their woman ambassador to spread awareness on our legal rights as citizens of India, thus empowering ourselves.
Your course as the winner has been truly inspiring.
With whom would you like to share the credit of your growth and success?
Mr.
Vineet Jain and Ms.
Natasha Grover, who believed in me, without whom this venture would have never begun.
The Miss Diva team has been incredibly supportive throughout and is now a family to me.
My friends and family, who stood by me through everything and before anyone.
They make everything better.
No achievement would feel the same if I didn’t have them to celebrate.
I feel blessed and grateful for all of them.
A piece of advice you would like to pass on to the next Miss Diva?
I would like to congratulate her for winning the crown, fronting lakhs of girls.
NEVER stop seeing this winner in you, no matter how tough times get.
You were chosen for a reason, so make the most out of this life-changing moment.
Paint this course in our own unique shades, and make each day count.
What is your next plan of action following your pageantry stint?
LIVA Miss Diva 2020 has opened various opportunities for me in so many fields related to public speaking, modeling, acting, and my core professional background of architecture.
There is so much to choose from, and you might even see me pursuing it all! So stay tuned with me on this journey because I can’t wait to see where it takes me.
We wish the queen joy and prosperity in all her future endeavors.
