Panaji: Chairman of the Minister of Pramod Sawant on Tuesday said that Goa was the number one country in India in connection with the infrastructure in the education sector and a higher level of secondary and high education.
“Many countries claim that they are number one, but, as the minister of education is proud, I want to say that as far as infrastructure in the education sector runs, Goa is number one in connection with the government and institutions assisted by the government,” Sawant said.
Sawant, who speaks after launching the Nishta 2.0 capacity building program for secondary teachers, said that it is necessary to do such a training program for teachers from time to time because it will help them while providing education and helping them work hard against all the development of their students.
“Education is the most important aspect while carrying development and growth in society,” he said.
The training program will be carried out through online mode and Sawant says that all teachers will benefit from it.
