Nagpur: The Nagpur Crime Branch will investigate the allegations of economic exploitation and corruption in the salary of security guards used at the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) company.
Confirming this, Deputy NMC Commissioner Municipal Nirbhay Jain said that the police complaint had been submitted.
This step began after the Head of the City of Sena Shiv Nitin Tiwari accused the illegal recovery of RS7,000 per month from a salary of 290 guards by four private security institutions appointed by NMC.
In the past too, BJP Corporator Dharamampal Meshram has increased the problem of irregularities in security institutions.
According to Tiwari, NMC has appointed industrial security services, super security services, unity security and Kishore Agency.
In accordance with the agreement, the monthly salary of the guard around RS15.273.
“However, the agency draws RS7,000 per month from a bank account from this guard,” said Tiwari to Jain during a demonstration by Shiv Sena at the NMC headquarters.
He also provides evidence.
Sena leaders also demanded a detailed investigation and urged Jain to take action against the Assistant Commissioner of Mahesh Dhamecha from the General Administration Department to keep the problem.
